- Fay started in the Cafeteria when she was 14 years old. When she was old enough she then worked on the assembly line. She traveled to work with her father, mother and sister (Jim, Helen and Ruth Dennison). Jim was a head electrician (he commonly worked directly for Henry Ford in his Michigan and Florida homes), Helen worked in the cafeteria, and Ruth (who was older) started on the assembly line. Fays fathers family had a farm in Cone Michigan, and in 1945 she married into a grain farm in Britton Michigan where she worked and drove tractors well into her late 80's.
