Mom was very proud of being a Rosie and we have fond memories of our visits with her - as well as the trip we took to Pueblo Colorado's air museum in August of 2009, where she was able to sit in the copilot's seat of a B-29 Bomber. She worked at Doaks Aircraft in Long Beach during the war, where she machined the bolts for the gunner's seat of the B-29.
