The $25.00 “Rosie Bond” costs $18.75 just like War Bonds did during WWII. During WWII Rosies and others could buy savings stamps and then they pasted them in a a booklet until they reached $18.75. Once they reached $18.75 they could trade the booklet in for a War Bond that would eventually be worth $25.00. That’s one way everyone helped finance the war. Even though “Rosie Bonds” won’t mature to give you back $25.00, your donation will help our organization continue to preserve the history of the Rosies. For your donation of $18.75 you will receive the Rosie Bond certificate. The American Rosie the Riveter Association is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
